MAIS, what is it?

The Murdoch Authentication & Identification System, referred to as the MAIS, is a system used since 1997 to authenticate and authorise members of the University community who require access to restricted information resources, application systems and services provided by, or for, Murdoch University.

The MAIS uses a corporate database and a dedicated Web server.

To learn more about the MAIS, select from the list of MAIS Help Topics listed on the menu. For a technical level overview of the MAIS components, select this link.
